KENZI DEAN, OWNER + CAKE ARTIST
Hey! I’m Kenzi, cake artist, instructor, and founder of The Cake Edit.
I started baking as a kid and never really stopped. What began as a love for baking + creating something beautiful out of nothing grew into a passion for modern cake design, mixing art, texture, and detail in a way that feels natural and intentional.
Outside the studio, I work in special education, another passion of mine. I love spending time outdoors, staying active, and soaking up the small, quiet moments of motherhood. My son is truly my hero.
I find inspiration everywhere, especially in nature- from soft, earthy tones to organic textures that show up in my cakes.
Whether I’m teaching a workshop or designing for an event, my goal is to make cake design feel approachable, inspiring, and a little magical. I believe in building community through creativity, where everyone feels welcome, connected, and free to express themselves.
